Under the auspices of Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho, Nazim Goran-from Military College, and Dr. Zherzad Zekeria-Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Education concluded Azadi Tournament of Football and the final match was between the team of the University of Zakho and team of Zakho Military College in which the team of Zakho Military College won the match and earned the title of the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that five teams participated in this tournament, namely; Team of the University of Zakho, Zakho Military College, Zakho Sport Institute, Zakho Sports Club, and Zakho Youth Union and the matches were held as of April 8 till April 10, 2019.
